Bratton Silver Band Bavarian Evening
Bratton Silver Band performed their very own ersion of a German style Bavarian evening, held in the Jubilee Hall on Saturday 9th February. This was a truly fantastic musical event full of German music, German beer and wine and German food—sausages, cheeses and sauerkraut! This was all topped off with the usual effects of German attire (worn by the Band) consisting of waistcoats, long white socks and green hats (with a feather!).
As quoted by an audience member, “a wonderfully entertaining evening. We laughed, we sang, tapped our feet and generally had a good time. At the interval the food was welcome and enjoyable! A splendid evening!”
Steve Smith provided the verbal entertainment and a great evening was had by all. This type of concert is hopefully being repeated in the second half of the year—so look out for further information.
